Die Erscheinungsformen gesprochener Sprache sind vielfältig. Unsere Gesellschaft kennt zahlreiche mündliche Kommunika-tionsanlässe wie beispielsweise Gerichtsverhandlungen, Auskünfte, Gespräche zwischen Behördenvertretungen und Bürgern, Interaktion zwischen Ärzten und Patienten, Arbeitsessen, Streitgespräche, Planungsgespräche oder Telefongespräche. Doch die gesprochene Sprache dringt auch mehr und mehr in die Literatur- und Fachsprachen ein und findet in der Lexikographie Berücksichtigung. Weiterhin ist sie bezüglich der Übersetzung von Werbung, audiomedialen Inhalten sowie Filmuntertitelungen relevant. Als Unter-suchungsgegenstand für die Translationswissenschaft ist sie also durchaus von Interesse.
