"The child may suffer from insomnia, disinterest in learning, irritability, crying, and even self harm... He is likely to have depression.

According to the Report on the Development of Chinese National Mental Health (2019 ～ 2020) issued by the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021, almost one in five teenagers has depression.

But cold data may not truly reflect the severity of the situation. This book, for the first time, records the struggles and transformations of 17 families after their children's depression in the form of oral testimony from eyewitnesses: the ""chicken baby"" mother forced the daughter of a top student into depression; Parents argue every day, making their children feel like a burden... The medical consultant of this book, Yu Honghua, former chief physician of the Clinical Psychology Department of Beijing Huilongguan Hospital, proposed a specific family treatment plan: psychological nurturing. Teenagers are in a period of rapid psychological development, with intense emotional fluctuations. If they do not receive proper psychological support from their parents, it is highly likely to trigger depression.

本书医学顾问，原北京回龙观医院临床心理科主治医师于宏华，提出了具体的家庭治疗方案：心理养育。青少年正处在心理发展的迅猛期，情绪波动剧烈，如果得不到父母正确的心理抚养，极易诱发抑郁。
