When faced with the love of your life moving on, the only rational thing to do is to prank them, right? Kane and I were always the unshakable exes, together since high school and ready to face the world together. When one day we were ripped apart.

It's been 6 long weeks since the break up, and I am just trying to get through the days. Working at our local animal shelter has helped, finding solace alongside the lost and damaged animals. A parallel to how I have always felt in my life. Add in some meddling friends, and stolen moments together that force us to confront what we broke.

Juggling two jobs- bartending and a counselor at a local high school- and trying to help the kids that could be falling through the cracks.
