AX TO THE ROOT OF MORMONISM

AX TO THE ROOT OF MORMONISM is a direct and uncompromising examination of the origins, doctrines, and institutional structure of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cutting beneath surface claims and cultural respectability, this book exposes the foundations upon which Mormon theology was built and measures them against the teachings of Jesus and the apostles.

Through historical analysis, doctrinal comparison, and careful engagement with Scripture, Dennis Henderson traces the rise of Mormonism from Joseph Smith's claims of revelation to the development of extra-biblical texts, temple ordinances, hierarchical authority, and salvation systems rooted in human effort rather than grace. Each doctrine is tested against the biblical witness, revealing where tradition, ritual, and institutional power have replaced the simplicity and sufficiency of the gospel.

This book also addresses the personal and spiritual consequences of doctrinal distortion-how authority structures shape conscience, how fear and compliance affect daily life, and how individuals can reclaim faith grounded in Scripture rather than organizational control. Practical guidance is offered for those questioning Mormon teachings or seeking to rebuild their spiritual lives outside of institutional pressure.

AX TO THE ROOT OF MORMONISM is written for readers who value truth, courage, and clarity-those willing to examine religious claims honestly and return to a faith anchored in Christ, grace, and the biblical understanding of the ekklesia as a living assembly, not a man-made system.
