Beyond the Torture is the raw and deeply personal memoir of Christopher Fergeson-a journey through childhood trauma, addiction, shame, sexuality, destructive relationships, and a devastating encounter that nearly cost him his life.

Raised in a deeply Christian home, Chris learned early to hide the parts of himself he believed could never be accepted. As grief, loneliness, addiction, and the desperate need for validation took hold, he drifted farther and farther from the faith that had once defined his childhood.

Years later, his search for connection and acceptance led him into the world of BDSM. What initially appeared to be curiosity and trust became something far more dangerous. On March 8, 2020, Chris entered a house believing he understood the risks. He walked out injured, traumatized, and forever changed.

But surviving the attack was only the beginning.

The aftermath brought devastating physical symptoms, medical struggles, painful memories, and questions about why God would allow such suffering. Yet through the darkness, Chris began discovering something he had spent years believing was impossible:
