Building Healthy Relationships

As followers of Christ Jesus, we are to live in a loving way toward each other. When we love each other as Christ commanded, our lives show our obedience to Jesus, and this also reveals to the world that we are true followers of Christ. Loving one another brings great fulfillment to our hearts and lives. However, we have all felt the sting of hurts, betrayals, offenses, and lies from fellow Christians. we all acknowledge that although we are saved, forgiven, transformed, and blessed by God, we still have parts of our lives that are not fully obedient to God. When we humans try to live and work together, there are frequent conflicts, some small; some life-changing, and large. This is because if you are around people for any length of time, you will either offend them or they will offend you. This is just life in a fallen world. Nevertheless, these conflicts and offenses can also be used by God to show us where we still need spiritual growth and to apply His grace. We all need help in loving others through the way we talk, share, help, and live. Therefore we all need help in loving others through the way we talk, share, help, and live.
