Preface Why the book? Who is this book for? This book covers practical issues faced by Educationists and English Language teachers in the classroom environment. It covers the basics of psycholinguistics, laying the foundations on which to build upon and develop linguistic performance. Where it has been necessary to use Psychology and Linguistics terminology, I have generally used more traditional terms that are well known and easy to understand.
