Aluna lives around the year 6,200 BC in the region that is now called Doggerland. This is a large wetland region, teeming with wildlife and rich in resources. Now we call it the North Sea. In this stone-age adventure, the author puts forward a new, unfalsified theory about the origins of Atlantis, arguably the most cautionary tale in the history of humanity. I.A.C.S. Lietaert has a keen interest in storytelling, ancient visual arts, and a fascination for stone-age culture. After studying literary theory and comparative literature, he's reconnecting the cautionary tales of the ancients to the 21st century's issues, such as global warming.
