This open access book presents the conference proceedings of the 3rd Indo-German Conference on Sustainability in Engineering. The proceedings include joint research results from the disciplines engineering, education and entrepreneurship. The conference is part of the joint research activities between BITS Pilani and TU Braunschweig, which have been established ten years ago. In addition, students and researchers, who have so far not been part of this cooperation, are addressed to add their research outcomes to increase the cooperation's visibility and vitality. The conference focuses on life cycle engineering, Industry 4.0, lean and green manufacturing. Technoentrepreneurship and business model creation are entrepreneurial aspects of the conference, whereas learning factories and employability skills form part of the educational scope. With this broad spectrum of topics, the conference links academia and industry and thus fosters the synergies between research and education.
