Fate of The Empire

The realms of Heaven and its Angels, Earth and its Mortals, and Hell and its Demons have always existed in a tenuous peace. They each took to themselves, united by the tides of magic that bound them together. Until Entity, the Traitor and Defiler, attempted to usurp the Heavenly throne, throwing the realm into a bloody Civil War. However, no story is without a hero, and Entity would meet his match. Nicolas, Archangel, and Battle Angel, along with Antioch, The Fallen Angel, two of the most powerful spellcasters in the realm, would work with the Mortal forces to send the Dark Angel and his followers to Hell.

Many millennia later, the realm of Earth would find itself in its own Civil War. The many provinces of The Empire refuse to cooperate with each other. The sneaky Dark Angel, Entity, waited in the shadows for the right time to begin his assault. That time: is now. However, the Angels of Heaven, and those who remained on Earth, knew this day would come and sent the original savior to make sure history repeats itself. Hopefully, with a different, more final conclusion.

While the Archangel plans to fight the oncoming demonic threat, the Mortal Civil War has made things challenging to work around. In desperation, Nicollas gathered men and women who refused to fight for the yolk of greedy nobles, willing to instead fight in the name of The Empire and the warm embrace of the Light. The nobles and generals under the banner of the Archangel still refuse to cooperate with fellow mortals, often distrusting each other. Entity had long planned for this moment, and the fruits of his planning are now coming to fruition.

Now, Prince Raul Arias of Rineland finds himself surrounded by the armies of the Archduchess of Hannoburg and has evacuated to the ancient citadel of Everpeak. The Prince calls on his allies, asking them to aid him in the coming battle between fellow Imperials, unbeknownst to them that they have fallen right into the Dark Angel's trap. With the stage set, the fate of The Empire lies at the hands of these imperial commanders and the Angelic savior.
