A guilty teenager, Scotia Danes, sends an innocent youth, Riki Ruahau, to prison. In the court rooms of heaven, Lucifer, in his office of Chief Prosecutor, sifts their souls on a chess board to reveal their true allegiances before God.

As Scotty recovers in Scotland from a boating accident in New Zealand, and Riki spends time with a counsellor in prison, God helps them discover their real identity through their dream world of Cloud Riding. Here in Saxon times, they meet and are captured by Celtic chieftains. With their hands bound Scotia and Riki, vulnerable and without options, get to know each other.

With the help of angels and community who understand moving in the sixth dimension of cloud riding, the space where the soul and spirit function beyond the body in heavenly realms, Scotia and Riki, save not only themselves, but others along the way.

Here they learn their being and future have always been liberated by God and their ability beyond human.

Amanda Hawken is a writer, mosaic artist and painter of various mediums. Her debut novel was published in 2009. Her first short story, 'Are We There Yet?' was published in 2024, in the New Zealand Wellspring Magazine. She is married to her husband John of forty-three years.
