Illithian

Unlike most kids his age, seventeen-year-old Ishan doesn't just want to be the son of a blacksmith. His parents were also two legendary warriors of a bygone era now retired to the quaint village of Alandria. Ishan's dream of following in their footsteps was something his parents genuinely tried to prevent.

But as fate would have it, Ishan inherits his father's Illithian Stone on the promise of keeping the Stone safe on the day of his passing as a mysterious illness sweeps across his village slowly taking everything from him.

Now Ishan and his mother work together to overcome their grief by focusing on preparing him for the journey he will soon embark on before she too succumbs to the illness leaving Ishan the sole survivor of Alandria.

With the Stone safely at his side, Ishan's journey finds him at the center of a greater conflict thought to have ended years ago. With each ensuing battle Ishan engages in, the Illithian Stone quietly grows in power, biding its time, helping him overcome overwhelming odds, but at the cost of his humanity. Though when he discovers demonic forces were behind the deaths of his parents and the destruction of his village, Ishan's thirst for vengeance grows.

Now Ishan is forced to make a choice: resist the whispering temptation of the Illithian Stone and risk failing his quest to avenge his parents' death, or accept its corrupting power and become someone or something else entirely.
