Jehovah Shammah

God never sends us where He has not gone before us.

In Jehovah Shammah: The LORD Is There, Jan Clements delivers an inspiring, awe-inspiring chronicle of a lifelong calling that spanned continents, generations, and the untamed wilderness of South America. From her birth in Argentina to missionary parents to raising her own three children on the mission field alongside her husband, Don, Jan's deeply moving memoir shifts the spotlight away from human achievement to illuminate the quiet, faithful hand of God at every step.

Growing up as a Missionary Kid (MK) in the Bolivian Chaco and later spending decades in full-time ministry, Jan witnessed firsthand what it means to live in total surrender to the Lord. Through political revolutions in La Paz, hazardous wild pig hunts in the jungle alongside the Ayoré people, high-stakes medical crises, and the painful separations of boarding school, one constant remained clear: Jehovah Shammah-the LORD is there.

What You Will Experience in This Memoir:

• Generational Faithfulness: Trace a rich spiritual legacy stretching from London's urban youth clubs in the early 1900s to remote Guaraní villages and multi-generational church planting.
