Juz' 'Amma with Lexical & Grammatical Notes takes you through every surah of the thirtieth part of the Qur'an (surahs 78-114), ayah by ayah, so that you understand the Arabic itself and not only a translation.

The book follows the method of Dr V. Abdur Rahim's Surat al-'Adiyat with Lexical & Grammatical Notes. Every surah is presented in the same order:

• The Qur'anic text
• Lexical and grammatical notes for each ayah, with every verb given with its bab and masdar
• A complete English translation, followed by Reflections on the Message summarised from Maulana Wahiduddin Khan's commentary Tazkirul Quran
• Additional Notes, with Qur'anic quotations that show each pattern in other places
• Exercises to test and fix what you have learnt

About the author: Tanveer Ilahi Al-Umari is a teacher of Arabic and Islamic studies, a teacher trainer and an A Level Arabic examiner. He studied Arabic under Dr V. Abdur Rahim and holds an M.A. in Modern Arabic from the University of Madras.
