La lettre de Saint Paul aux Romains

La lettre aux Romains est un texte majeur parmi les écrits de Paul. Elle a fait l'objet, au cours de l'histoire, de multiples commentaires et on sait le rôle qu'a joué son interprétation dans la division des chrétiens au XVIe siècle. Voici un instrument de travail (dépassionné) pour aborder ce texte difficile, personnellement ou en groupe. Après un rappel du contexte historique et une présentation de la lettre dans son ensemble, le texte de Paul est étudié du premier au dernier verset en suivant le plan dégagé au départ. L'apport de Paul est mis systématiquement en lumière tant dans la connaissance qu'il donne du Christ que dans sa façon d'exhorter à vivre une existence vraiment chrétienne au sein d'une société pluriculturelle.
