However, even very young children can contribute their views about SRE provided suitable methods are used. This resource shows how this can be done in practice. Asking children their views on SRE gives them an opportunity to be active citizens and to fulfil their right to express opinions. This guide shows how listening to pupils can become part of school culture and thus reap benefits to pupil well-being, including raising self-esteem and developing social skills.
