The book presents Indian discoveries and achievements in sciences like mathematics, astronomy, cosmology, physics, chemistry, medicine and psychology, from Vedic age up to 1200 CE. The poor conditions of sciences in the Greek, Roman and Christian periods of Europe have been described for comparison. Transfers of knowledge from India to China, Arabia and Europe have been documented with evidence.

Author has discovered many scientific contents in Rig-, Yajur- and Atharva Vedas for the first time.
