Moments Between the Flames is a companion memoir to Thank You for the Fire, exploring the stories that happened between the relationships that left the deepest scars.

There were six men. Some became friends, some were brief encounters, and some remained in my life far longer than expected. None were meant to be forever, but each became part of a period when I was figuring out who I was, what I wanted, and-perhaps more importantly-what I definitely didn't want.

From university adventures and unexpected friendships to questionable decisions, old connections, ridiculous situations and moments that probably deserved a little more thought beforehand, these are the stories that happened when I wasn't looking for love. In fact, I wasn't even trying to heal.

I was trying to forget.

Yet somewhere between the fun, attraction, friendship and chaos, healing happened anyway.

Funny, candid and unapologetically personal, Moments Between the Flames is about the people who don't become the great loves of our lives but still leave us with memories, lessons and stories worth telling.
