Optimization Based Clearance of Flight Control Laws

This book addresses the Clearance Of Flight Control Laws Using Optimisation(COFCLUO) and summarizes the main achievements of the EC founded§6th Framework Programme COFCLUO project. It is well known that beforean aircraft can be tested in ight, it has to go through a rigorous certi-§cation and quali cation process to prove to the authorities that the ight§control system is safe and reliable. Currently signi cant time and money is§spent by the aeronautical industry on this task.
