Roots of Inspiration

Roots of Inspiration is a heartfelt collection of faith-filled stories born from one man's journey through struggle, healing, and a renewed relationship with God.

After facing a difficult season of depression in 2022, Ruben Hernandez found himself at a turning point. Through the love of his family, an unexpected dream, and a powerful return to Christ, he discovered a renewed sense of purpose, and began writing the thoughts and lessons that would become this book.

Through twenty short, relatable stories, Ruben uses everyday experiences and familiar images, from a bird feeder and a pecan tree to a penny, a driver, and even a soldier's loin belt, to explore faith, purpose, forgiveness, perseverance, compassion, spiritual growth, and trusting God's direction.

Each story offers a simple yet meaningful reminder: you are not alone, your life has value, and God can bring hope and restoration even when the road ahead seems uncertain. Written with prayer and a desire to encourage those who are hurting or searching for direction, Roots of Inspiration invites readers to slow down, look deeper, trust God, and discover the lessons He may be placing in the ordinary moments of life.

Whether you are walking through a difficult season, strengthening your faith, or simply looking for a little encouragement, these stories are meant to meet you where you are, and remind you that there is always hope.
