Rourke and the Fallen Ones

The ship is gone. The crew is scattered. And something on this planet is hunting the survivors.

When the starship Bailey slams into a satellite orbiting a nameless world, Security Officer First Class Jonathan Rourke wakes alone in a shattered life pod with a broken leg, a failing suit, and only the dry wit of his AI companion, LESSA, to keep him sane. Two crew members are dead. One is missing. And the creature that killed Doctor Jones is still out there, patient, intelligent, and hungry.

Dragging himself across a hostile wilderness, Rourke discovers he is not the only human on this world. A tribal society descended from an earlier crash fears the sky-people as the Fallen, and its ruthless leader wields stolen star-tech as a weapon of control. Beyond them, something colder is watching: an overseer from the City that Burns without Flames, who already knows Rourke's name.

Rourke and the Fallen Ones delivers:

• • Relentless, cinematic survival action from the very first page
  • A wounded, wisecracking hero readers will follow across an entire series
  • A vivid alien world of predators, ruins, and tribal secrets
  • A clever AI companion whose deadpan banter cuts through the darkness
  • A cliff-edge ending that launches the Jonathan Rourke saga

Perfect for fans of gritty space opera, first-contact intrigue, and military sci-fi heroes who bleed, joke, and refuse to quit.
