Survivors

About ten years ago, an asteroid passed a bit too close to the Earth, leaving disaster in its wake. In the aftermath of the tragedy two young girls struggle to find a reason to keep on living. One is trapped alone in the ruins of a city, scraping by on what food and water she can scavenge and forage. The other is bound to her bedroom due to a disease which requires a daily treatment that leaves her in terrible pain for hours on end. Both girls are looking for a reason to go on, to live and not just try to make it one more day.

Then, somehow, the girls start to find each other. With that begins a journey that will test both girls to their limits, a journey that will test their strength and their sanity as they each look for a reason to be more than just a survivor.
