The Abyss's Echo

Dive into a world where forbidden knowledge whispers promises of power and peril.

Thirteen-year-old Pan, navigating the awkward currents of puberty and high school, finds himself reluctantly teamed with his athletic best friend, Blake, and the brilliant Alexis for their school's prestigious 'Advanced Alchemist Award.' Their alchemy teacher, Mr. Baker, sparks their curiosity with tales of hallucinogenic concoctions and their antidotes, setting the stage for an ambitious project. But when Pan stumbles upon a hidden trove of ancient, forbidden alchemy texts in his cellar-the 'Lore of the Abyss'-their academic quest takes a terrifying turn. His mother's visceral fear confirms: these aren't just old books; they're a direct, dangerous link to a failed alchemist's dark past and the creeping 'un-death' that now taints their world.

As they prepare to harness the Lore, Pan's yearning for recognition and power becomes entangled with a perilous mystery. The very magic they seek is tainted by a 'thick odor of rot,' promising not just academic glory but a chilling confrontation with consequences far beyond their wildest imaginings. Can these young alchemists master the Abyss, or will they awaken something ancient and destructive?

Begin the adventure today and discover the secrets hidden within the Abyss's Echo.
