The Apostle Paul

The Church does not need another gospel. She needs Jesus Christ.

I write unto a generation surrounded by noise, confusion, compromise, and spiritual weariness. Many speak in the name of Christ, yet not every voice leads unto truth. Some magnify men. Some excuse sin. Some bind the conscience with the commandments of men. Some misuse spiritual gifts, spiritual authority, and the trust of those placed beneath their care.

Yet I do not write because Christ has abandoned His Church.

God forbid.

I write because He loved the Church and gave Himself for her.

In The Apostle Paul: Courage for the Last Days, the voice, doctrine, reasoning, testimony, and pastoral burden of Paul are presented in a Scripture-governed literary form for the Church of the present day.

Through these pages, I call believers to:

• Hold fast to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ
• Reject every distortion of the apostolic Gospel
• Discern between the voice of the flesh and the voice of the Spirit
• Seek the proper operation of spiritual gifts through charity and biblical order
• Bring healing and truth to those wounded in the house of God
• Require humility, integrity, and accountability from spiritual leaders
• Allow Christ to be formed within the believer
• Preserve the unity of the Spirit without compromising truth
• Put on the whole armour of God and stand in the evil day
• Remain watchful, faithful, and courageous until the Lord comes

This is not a message of condemnation without hope.

It is a call to restoration.

The wounded are not forgotten.

Faithful shepherds are not overlooked.

Those who have erred are not beyond repentance.

The Church is not beyond renewal.

Let every heart be examined. Let every gift be submitted to Jesus Christ. Let every leader remember that the flock belongs to God. Let every believer refuse bitterness, pride, fear, and compromise.

The night is far spent.

The day is at hand.

Therefore, Church of God among the nations, stand fast.

Preach the Gospel.

Walk in the Spirit.

Hold fast the faithful Word.

Let Christ have the preeminence.

And remain faithful until He comes.
