Madrid, 1958.

Tomás Navarro has spent fifteen years building a life that bears little resemblance to the one he left behind. In Barcelona, he has a respected career, a well-appointed apartment and, most importantly, the freedom to be known only as the man he has chosen to become.

Then his grandmother dies.
