The Castle That Dreamed Of Blood

High in the frozen mountains, far from any king's road and beyond the reach of mercy, stands a fortress abandoned by history and feared by every village that still remembers its name.

When a weary mercenary company takes shelter inside the ruined castle during a savage winter campaign, they believe they have found protection from the storm, the enemy, and the dead men left behind on the battlefield. But the fortress is not empty. Its halls shift in the dark. Its doors open onto rooms that should not exist. Portraits watch from rotting walls. Banquet tables appear laid for nobles who were slaughtered centuries before. At night, soldiers wake with blood on their hands and no memory of how it came to be there.

The castle is dreaming.

And its dream is murder.

Long ago, within these same walls, a noble house tried to bind an ancient power beneath the stone. What followed was a massacre so terrible that the fortress never truly died. Now it feeds on memory, fear, guilt, and violence, dragging the living into the sins of the dead. As the mercenaries begin to turn against one another, old ghosts walk the corridors, forgotten crimes rise from the crypts, and the castle forces its new guests to repeat the bloodshed that first awakened it.

Trapped by the storm and hunted by the place that shelters them, the survivors must uncover the truth buried beneath the keep before the final act of the castle's dream is complete. But the deeper they descend, the clearer one thing becomes: the fortress does not simply remember blood.

It wants more.

The Castle That Dreamed of Blood is a dark Gothic fantasy of haunted stone, doomed soldiers, ancient curses, and a living fortress that hungers for slaughter. Atmospheric, violent, and grim, it is a tale of war, madness, betrayal, and the terrible price paid when men seek to imprison something older than death.
