The Door Locked From Within

A door bolted from within. An empty room. A missing girl who uncovered a secret someone wanted hidden.

While helping prepare the historic Lockwood Hotel for a scholarship dinner, eighteen-year-old Nora Whitmore discovers that someone changed the official list of finalists. Before she can reveal what she knows, she calls for help from inside the hotel's locked music room.

When the door is forced open, Nora has vanished.

The windows are secured, the fireplace is sealed, and the heavy brass bolt could only have been fastened from inside. All that remains is Nora's phone, an unfinished message, and her warning that an innocent student must not be blamed.

Under Detective Thompson's guidance, Jake, Emily, Amy, Max, Mia, and Chip follow a trail of conflicting records, missing security footage, coded music, and forgotten spaces within the old hotel.
