Dreamrend: The Awakening

Elyon has always been a traveler, a storyteller, and something of a mystery even to himself.

For years, his dreams have felt too vivid to dismiss and too strange to understand. Then one night, he wakes, far from where he fell asleep, fully dressed, coin pouch still at his belt, rope still over his shoulder with only fragments of darkness, frost, blue-cyan light, and impossible figures lingering in his mind.

To anyone else, it sounds like one of his stories.

To Elyon, it feels like a warning.

Drawn onto a road he never meant to take, Elyon soon finds himself joined by Reven, a roguish outlaw with a sharp blade and a mostly good heart, and two dwarves whose loyalty is as unshakable as stone. What begins as a strange journey becomes something far larger, pulling them toward old secrets, dangerous choices, and truths the young world is not ready to face.

The old races remember pieces of the past. Humans are building kingdoms with startling speed. Dwarves guard their own knowledge. Elves speak carefully of what came before. And somewhere beyond the edge of what is known, forces are beginning to move.
