SERIES INFO
THE LAST SACRIFICE is a Stage Play centered on the life and worldwide impact of Jesus Christ. Each Stage Play in this series portrays the life of Jesus as seen through the eyes of those near to him, and those who never even spoke to him.
Originally written for and performed at Grace Church in Rupert, Idaho, these Stage Plays aim to bring the story of Jesus to life, and draw every audience into deeper relationship with him. The authors have made The Last Sacrifice available as inexpensively as possible. Their hope is that your performances of The Last Sacrifice will impact your performers and audiences alike.
THE LAST SACRIFICE: THE TRAGEDY OF JUDAS
This Stage Play tells the story of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. It emphasizes the perils of assuming that we know God's will, that God needs our help accomplishing His will, and worst of all, that we know better than God how to accomplish His will. Since Judas is only a small part of the gospel accounts, details specific to him are surprisingly vague, and his motives to betray Jesus are less obvious than one might initially assume. Scholars have contemplated Judas's character and beliefs for centuries, and the story told in this Stage Play adopts one plausible vision.
