Drogan Lightshade was once scorned as a Death Fury but now he is a beautiful angelic being known as a Faowin. He is a loyal friend to the Shadow Reavers and a true defender of Terra Zem. One day he and Kwyjene are exploring a crystal cave and are just about imprisoned by a mysterious crystal wall that is rising quickly. They escape the crystal cave only to find that the wall is growing and threatens to destroy Terra Zem if it isn't stopped. It is soon found that only one thing can stop the wall and that is the mysterious Etherseed. Drogan and Kwyjene team up with Aelwick Brightsteel and Zaildra Wind Dancer of the powerful Dragones race to follow the clues to find the Ether seed before it is too late.
