Before You Begin

I wrote this book to settle one question in your heart for good: who is the Messiah?

The world has many answers. Some say He was a teacher. Some say He was a prophet. Some say He has not come yet. Some say there are many roads and many saviours and it does not matter which one you take.

I say what the fire said on the mountain, what the angel said to Mary, what Peter said by the lake, and what the empty tomb is still saying this morning: the Messiah is Yahshua. There is no other, there was no other, and there will be no other.

But I want to take you further than a slogan. I want to show you where He came from, long before Bethlehem. I want to show you that the pillar of fire that led Israel through the desert was not a strange weather event. It was a Person. That same fire stood over God's people in the Old Testament, walked beside God's people in the New Testament, and now lives inside God's people by the Spirit of Christ. One God. One fire. Three positions: above us, with us, in us.

And I want to show you where it is all going. The fire is not going back to heaven to leave the earth in the dark. The fire is coming to stay, in a body, and that body is us. The meek are not going to escape the earth. The meek are going to inherit it, and then the heavens around it.

I have laid the book out in six parts. I call them the six R's of the Messiah: His Revelation, His Rule and Reign, His Resources, His Regeneration, His Results and Rewards, and His Revolution. Read them in order. Each one stands on the one before it.

Read slowly. Read with your Bible open. And when the fire begins to burn in your own chest, do not be afraid. That is what this book is for.
