The Oakhaven Incident

The lights went out. Then the clicking started.

Twelve-year-old Leo thought a blackout was the worst thing that could happen to Oakhaven. Then something beneath the town began to wake.

Blind, bone-armored predators stalk the darkness, hunting by sound. Streets collapse. Neighbors vanish. And when the Global Defense Network seals off the valley, the explanation it gives the world doesn't match what Leo has seen.

Leo and his friends Mac, Sam, and Maya know the danger runs deeper than anyone imagines. Beneath their homes lies a vast underground nursery-and a swarm that no quarantine can contain.

With their families in danger and the surface falling apart, the friends must help lead a desperate mission through storm drains, abandoned subway tunnels, and the heart of the hive. Their best weapons are their wits, their trust in one another, and the terrifying lessons they've learned about the creatures below.

But the deeper they go, the harder it becomes to stay silent.

In Oakhaven, silence is survival.
