The Red-Blue War

The Red-Blue War, 2nd edition by Ürikon (2017), is a dystopian noir war fiction novel set in a fractured America, structured as three interconnected stories that explore a brutal civil war through multiple narrative formats, including news reports, diary entries, court transcripts, and combat vignettes, highlighting themes of survival, betrayal, and the collapse of humanity.

It contains three stories:

"Scream Feast" - A fragmented, documentary-style narrative composed of magazine articles, court transcripts, combat reports, and diary entries that reveal the widespread violence and societal breakdown during a devastating American civil war.

"No Man. No Problem" - A dark tale of betrayal, revenge, and survival in a lawless world where shifting alliances and moral ambiguity determine fate in a collapsing society.

"The Livormortis Womb" - A gritty crime-driven narrative following a drug-dependent smuggler forced into cross-border trafficking to repay a dangerous criminal debt, exposing addiction, exploitation, and desperation in a harsh underworld.
