The Thursday Poets' Anthology: Dreams and Realities

Enjoy or muse in 91 collected poems from nine veteran poets who share magical forms of words and meanings that transport you into unique observations and emotions.
Earth, a tiny speck in a vast universe of planets, moons, asteroids, meteors, and ether, holds us in its palm from birth to death. We spin with it, alive for a time, caught in the dreams and realities of our own or others' making. We long for better, for ourselves, for others, for things in this world and in worlds of imagination.
Experience in these poems by survivors and dreamers, the intricacies and truths of life, mortality, and what lies between. Emotions of happiness, sadness, hope, dismay, surprise, and wisdom show their depths on levels we identify with, on levels we can know and understand, or on others hidden by forces beyond mortal ken.
These dedicated poets of different backgrounds, homeplace, education, and experience reveal themselves completely. One, a doctor, living and working in London, another an author of thirty poetry books and eight novels. One, an essayist, editor, and memoir writer. Others with published poems many times over, expressing what is real, what is dreamed, what is desirable, what is hated or loved. From all walks of life, occupation, family, and relationships.
All using their voice to express their passion for life.
