Thinking your Right when you are Wrong

As a lifelong student of truth, I have rarely approached a book without a pen in hand. Note-taking is not merely academic it is a spiritual discipline. When something pierces the heart or challenges the mind, it must be captured.

In that spirit, I have included four blank pages at the back of this book. These are not filler; they are your space. I invite you to use them as you read. Record what moves you, what unsettles you, and what God may be revealing. A book that confronts your thinking deserves a thoughtful response.

Truth that is written down is truth that begins to take root. This book is not about winning arguments. It is about uncovering the truth. Every one of us has been shaped by parents, culture, education, media, and religion. Our minds are programmed with assumptions that we rarely question, yet we defend them as if they were absolute.

We think we are right, when often we are wrong. There is only one unshakable standard against which all our thoughts, philosophies, and formation must be measured: Jesus Christ, His Word, and His Church.

• Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

• His Word is truth that sanctifies and sets free.

• His Church is the pillar and foundation of the truth.

Everything else is shifting sand. If what we believe does not align with Him, it is not truth it is error. This book is a call to lay down our opinions and pick up the cross of truth. To let go of man-made certainties and embrace the certainty of Christ. To be deconstructed by the Spirit in order to be rebuilt on the only foundation that will last. If you dare to read on, prepare to be challenged. Because truth does not bend to us we must bend to Him
