Jameson is a happy, energetic little boy who loves nothing more than going on adventures with his beloved Mamo. One sunny day at the park, he spots something magical in the pond: a large turtle with a bright, shiny shell who lifts his head above the water and smiles right at him. Jameson names him Timmy, and a wonderful friendship is born.

But when Jameson and Mamo return to the park, Timmy is nowhere to be found. Visit after visit, Jameson races to the bridge calling out for his turtle friend, only to be met by honking geese, giggling ducklings, shimmering dragonflies, and busy spiders. Each new creature brings its own delight, but none of them have seen Timmy. With every trip, Jameson grows a little more discouraged. Will he ever see his friend again?
