Lacy Martin has spent her life working at her family's standardbred horse racing business, Martin Stables, and the last thing she needs is a newcomer meddling in their affairs.
When horseman, jockey, business man, Marcel Lafrance moves to town, she's convinced he's come to take over this year's stake races but knowing about her family's struggles before she did hit a nerve and she vows to fight him at every turn.
