Do 30 dana za povrat
You cleared it. Then it came back.
You finished the treatment. The bloating settled, the gas eased, and for a few months you felt like yourself again. Then it returned, and you started the whole cycle over. If that has happened to you two, three, or five times, there is something almost every SIBO book leaves out: recurrence is not the exception. In one of the few studies to follow treated patients properly, nearly forty-four percent tested positive again within nine months. The three things that predicted who relapsed were not diet or discipline. They were age, a history of appendectomy, and long-term use of acid-suppressing medication.
What this book does
This is not another protocol. There is no thirty-day plan here and no supplement schedule. Instead, this book teaches you to think diagnostically about your own gut. It works through eight drivers of relapse, one chapter at a time, and gives you a structured self-assessment that narrows them down to the one or two most likely to be yours. Motility and the migrating motor complex. Post-infectious nerve damage. Adhesions and structural traps. The ileocecal valve. Acid suppression and other medications. Thyroid and systemic conditions. Stress and the nervous system. And the possibility that your overgrowth was never fully cleared because nobody measured the right gas.
Why this book is different
Most SIBO books sell a single plan and have no way of telling you whether you are in the group it fits. This one is built the other way around. It starts from the question chronic relapsers actually ask, which is why me and why again, and it treats that as a diagnostic question with a findable answer. It is honest about evidence throughout: where the research is strong it says so, and where a popular explanation rests on one small study it says that too.
This book is for readers who
Have been treated for SIBO more than once and watched it return. Have followed diets carefully and relapsed anyway. Suspect something in their medical history was never connected to their gut. Want to walk into their next appointment with a specific question rather than a printout. Are ready to stop treating the bacteria and start finding the reason those bacteria keep coming home.
A note on what it does not promise
Some relapse drivers can be resolved. Others are managed for life. This book will not tell you that yours is curable, because that depends on which one you have. What it offers is a named driver, a ranked plan, and an early warning system, which for a chronic relapser is the difference between managing a condition and losing to it.
If you want a clear, structured way to work out why your overgrowth keeps returning, this book offers a practical place to start.
